After all, unless your websites are indexed in the major search engines, you won’t be receiving much traffic, and without much traffic you will struggle to make money from your websites.
When I started out creating websites, it was relatively easy for me to keep a check on how my websites were doing because I only had 2 sites. Even so, I had to go to 3 different websites, and do 2 queries at each, just so I could get my index and backlink information for each site.
By the time I had 10 websites, I was doing 60 queries per day, and I had to store all that data somewhere, so I had to cut and paste all the data from my browser. Aaagghh – how tedious – there had to be a better way.
Having been a programmer for over 20 years, I knew I should be able to put together something to automate all of this, so I began developing the program that would become Website Position Wizard.
