The question I get asked the most is,
Why can't I sponsor anyone, and where do I advertise to get results?
Actually, that's 2 questions but they are the most common asked questions,
and usually they are together when someone asks them.
Why can't I sponsor anyone?
First, you need to step back and take a hard look at your ad. Would you
click on it? If not then you need to make some changes.
Are you using ads that the program provided?
If you are, then start writing your own.
This is the Most important step in reselling affiliate programs or products.
If there's 1,000 resellers and they are all using the pre-made ads, then
there's 1,000's of ads all saying the same thing. People get sick of that.
How do you write your own ads?
As you're going through your email and you come across an ad that catches
your eye, why did that ad catch your eye? Look at the ads that got your
interest and do the same thing with your ad. For email advertising, it has
to be the subject that grabs your readers attention.
Keep it short and to the point, and add Keywords in your headlines.
Where should you advertise?
Everywhere!
I know when you're first starting out, it's Very hard to pay for advertising.
So start out using all of the Free methods you can. There's plenty of free
classifieds etc. for you to use. The one that has worked for me the past
5 years is Adlandpro.
Use the ezines that offer you free ads, ffa sites, submit to the search
engines, message boards, join in some discussion groups, swap links with
others, banner exchanges, start page programs etc..
There's literally hundreds of things you can do to get people to your
website. Never stop advertising, this has got to be a Daily task if you
want it to work. No one else will do it for you. Don't forget to let the
website do the selling for you. Make your ads short and tell them to click
here Now!
Persistence is Key and Determination will get you Far!
All the best,
Audra
